The Heat Resistant Gloves are made of sturdy suede leather and officially EN 407:2020 certified. Protection up to 350°C contact heat with an internal lab test up to 500°C for brief contact of a few seconds. The extra long 41 cm cuff also protects your forearm from heat and sparks.

Suitable for BBQ, fireplace, wood stove, fire basket, campfire, and oven. Not intended for kamados or other uses with continuous contact above 350°C. Available in brown and black.

The gloves are officially certified for contact heat up to 350°C according to the European safety standard for heat-resistant work gloves. In additional lab tests, they also perform safely at 500°C for about 16 seconds of contact. This allows you to safely handle hot BBQ grates, logs, cast iron pans, and oven dishes.
Suitable for BBQ, fireplace, wood stove, fire basket, campfire, and oven use. Not intended for extreme applications such as kamados on high settings or professional welding where temperatures consistently exceed 350°C. The gloves protect against dry heat, not against steam or hot liquids.
The gloves are one-size with a hand length of 22 cm and a hand circumference of 32 cm. The 16 inch (41 cm) long cuff also protects the forearm. They fit comfortably on both average and larger hands.
That depends on the temperature. At 350°C you have about 18 seconds of safe contact, at 500°C about 16 seconds. Below 250°C it is more than 20 seconds. The gloves are intended for moving hot objects, not for prolonged holding.
No, the gloves are not washable. The leather can be damaged by water and detergents. Wipe off dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth and then let them dry well at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.

EN 407 is the European safety standard for heat-resistant work gloves. An independent European test lab has tested the gloves for flammability, contact heat, radiant heat, and metal splashes. The PyroProducts gloves score level 4 for flammability and level 3 for contact heat (up to 350°C). This means the heat claim is not just a marketing promise but actually tested and approved.
